On Wednesday, March 15, 2023 of Scranton, PA and Gaithersburg, MD.

Beloved husband of Claudia White Tyrrell, who passed in 2014; loving father of Christopher, Patrick, and Justin Tyrrell; brother of Joan Tyrrell English, who passed in 2020; grandfather of Sonya Tyrrell, Asher Tyrrell, Scarlett Tyrrell, and Lake Tyrrell. Also survived by two daughters-in-law, Stacey Cruwys-Tyrrell and Abby Tyrrell, Tamara Arredondo, and nephew Joseph English and nieces Maura English Silverman and Jane English Flood.

Robert was a proud graduate of the University of Scranton and Catholic University. He practiced trust and estate law from the 1970s until his retirement in 2016, and established Tyrrell, Mason & Pillote, P.C. But his true passions were his beloved family, fine dining, the Fighting Irish, the Yankees, and that time he got a hole-in-one.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 11701 Clopper Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878 on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 10:30 AM.

Interment St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
